I would just talk about EVALUATION!
Honestly, if I didn’t have to write and/or review grants, interact with prospective and current clients, write evaluation plans for potential grant opportunities, and complete reports, I’d rather be spending ALL of my time just talking about evaluation.
(Oh, I wish!)
“How to develop and implement a compelling and culturally-relevant evaluation plan within the context of a program is one of my favorite topics to ruminate and talk.”
Thanks to Roni Ellington and Tracy Rone at Morgan State University who have kindly invited me to talk about just this topic on February 2.
The 1.5 hours workshop/webinar is funded by the National Science Foundation’s Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences (SBE) directorate for the grant titled, “STEM Context Matters,” awarded to Roni, Tracy + team at Morgan State in 2020.
The grant focuses on supporting faculty in STEM education and SBE areas at Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) to help leverage and enhance their expertise to create and submit competitive proposals to the agency’s SBE directorate.
