In December 2021, when Victoria Dominguez at Citrus College (Glendora, CA) emailed me informing that she had received my contact from David Brown and asked very nicely if I might agree to be their collaborator and an external evaluator for the upcoming National Science Foundation (NSF) Scholarships in STEM (S-STEM) grant.
When David refers you to a potential client, you have to say yes.
Grateful for the connection that David so kindly made between us and very glad to mention that Citrus College and the talented team of PI and CoPIs, Sanaa Saykali, Victoria Dominguez, Toros Berberyan, and their exemplary grant writer, strategic thinker and planner (also an evaluator on other grants) were awarded the 6-year $750K, S-STEM grant from the NSF just three weeks ago.

Looking forward to working with the team as their external evaluators! Our September theme of S-STEM grant evaluations continues. More to come. Please stay tuned!
