Yesterday, I stood humbled and honored to receive the prestigious NASA’s Science Activation Puffin Award for MNA’s commitment to brave evaluation reporting this past year.
In a world grappling with the profound impact of climate change on the puffin population, this award symbolizes resilience – not just in our feathered friends on the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, but in the pursuit of truth.
The recognition comes on the heels of in-depth coverage of a Science Activation (SciAct) NASA-funded project this last year.
At MNA, we’ve believed in the power of transparency, even when facing the headwinds of controversy. It’s been our duty to unearth the facts, challenge the status quo, and ensure that the stakeholders are accurately informed.
Receiving the NASA’s SciAct Puffin Award is a testament to the importance of standing firm in the face of challenges. The road to truth is often thorny and even political but it’s a journey we must undertake with conviction.
I share this honor with all my fellow truth-seekers, acknowledging the collective effort to bring meaningful stories to light.
